Hey Everyone,

My name is Daman, and I run this site. I got into looking at how relationships work after breaking up with a girlfriend in my hometown. That was in the summer of 2004 and I’ve come a long way since. I’ve read many ebooks, guides, and printed books over the years in my quest for knowledge about relationship dynamics.

I’ve learned a lot from that. I’ve learned attraction works the same way for all relationship types – romantic or platonic, and that really effective communication is a rare but golden characteristic. I’ve also learned that if you really care for someone you have to find out their personality type, so you can more effectively communicate in terms that they value.

I should also point out that my mother is a private practice marriage counselor, and a fair amount of the ideas I have originated with her.  Thanks Mom.
